Rana Ranbir

Rana Ranbir is an actor, comedian, writer, anchor & theater artist. He is a very good poet too, got his book published while studying at college.


Born : 09 April 1970.

Ranbir completed his graduation from Desh Bhagat College Dhuri. He received a postgraduate degree in theater and television from Punjabi University, Patiala.

He got his book published while studying at Desh Bhagat College Bardwal (Dhuri) Distt. Sangrur.The name of the book is “Sach Soch te Supne”.

He went on to act in several Punjabi stage, radio and television productions. He has directed works including Aala Afsar, and Mitti Da Moh Some of his stage shows are Loha Kutt, Annay Nishanchi and Mirza Sahiba. His radio shows include Kehar Singh Di Maut.

Apart from comedies on Television with Bhagwant Maan – Jugnu Mast Mast, Naughty No. 1., Ranbir also acted in serious TV productions like Chitta Lahoo, and Parchavain. In the late 2000s, he became anchor of Zee Punjabi’s road show Excuse Me Please and Jugnu Mast Mast.

He plays the comic role of house manager Khoji in director Manmohan Singh’s 2009 Punjabi film Munde U.K. De.
